CIVIL AND COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS FOR UVS

While unmanned systems, Air, Land, Water, and Subsurface are most commonly associated with military operations these systems have matured to a point where they can now bring significant benefits to many civil and commercial applications. As part of the strategic plan of Unmanned Systems Canada we have been identifying how unmanned systems can fit into Canada’s civil and commercial uses.

This great and vast country that is Canada can reap significant benefits from the use of unmanned systems that would ultimately improve safety of life for Canadians, provide more frequent and better resolution data that can help both governments and industry, and position Canadian industry as a world leader that will generate increased export potential.

As a part of our 2011 Unmanned Systems Canada Conference, we want to hear from potential end users of these technologies. Come and tell the Canadian UVS sector about your mission requirements, How you conduct your operations today and where/how the unique abilities of unmanned systems can assist your work.

 .

Hearing from civil and commercial end users will help us to better understand their applications, the type of data and information they are looking for and the environment they operate in. Once we both have that understanding of the requirements and the capabilities we work together. To help us help you please download our CIVIL and COMMERCIAL End User Survey which has been designed to collect basic information on your civil or commercial operation. .
