Unmanned Canada 2019 is Canada’s largest conference and trade show for the unmanned, remotely-piloted and autonomous vehicles industry.
This year’s event will be held in our nation’s capital in Ottawa from Wednesday, October 30th through Friday, November 1st, 2019. USC-STC invites professional operators, industry suppliers, academics and all government, regulatory and business experts using or advancing Canada’s unmanned technologies to apply now to present at UC19Ottawa at the largest national event of the year.
1. Call for Industry Submissions: Apply before June 1, 2019
Presentation abstracts are due by 5:00pm PST on June 1st, 2019 and all applicants will be notified of the Program Committee decisions by June 15th, 2019. Speakers chosen to present at #UC19Ottawa are eligible for a discounted registration rate.
Conference Themes For Industry Presentations
Presentations are being sought for the following themes that will be scheduled around the plenary sessions that USC-STC is also coordinating for the conference from October 30th to November 1st, 2019).

2. Call for Conference Student Competition Submissions
New this year, the UC19Ottawa will feature a special session dedicated to supporting post-secondary students! Students can apply now to present an overview of their research in progress or a recently completed capstone/final project.
Candidates who are selected will receive a special registration fee and cash prizes to be awarded for the most outstanding technical paper ($800), oral presentation ($350), and poster ($350).
The Conference Student Competition is open to all Canadian undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in full-time studies in a recognized university or college at the time of submission. Attendance at the conference in Ottawa will be required to receive their award.

Students who wish to enter one of the categories must specifically indicate their intention to compete by selecting the appropriate option for either the technical paper, oral presentation, or poster, at the time of submission.
While a student may give more than one presentation (e.g. a talk and a poster), the student cannot enter more than one category.
