European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Publishes Proposed UAS Regulations

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has published its proposed UAS regulations for the ‘open’ and ‘specific’ categories. This document is recommended reading as it is likely to be considered by TC as input to their finalization of CG2, and the way-ahead for large UAS and BVLOS. USC is recommending a similar risk-based approach considering JARUS criteria. For companies involved in the European market, this document will be particularly relevant.
